Thanks to all who stopped by to see "The Lights at Wolf Hill", our 2009 Christmas Display. We have wrapped everything up for the season. This has been a great season, with a good turnout to see the lights, nice donations to help the animals living in local shelters, and the fact that the display did not get totally buried under snow like it did in the past two years.

Up next is the Holiday Landscapes Valentine's Display, starting January 31st. Stop by to see it if you have a chance. And again, thanks for visiting!

Have a happy New Year everyone. May 2010 be better than 2009! Tonight, January 1st, is the last night for The Lights at Wolf Hill. If you have been thinking about visiting the display, now is your last chance until next season.

All the donations collected have been delivered. This includes seven grocery bags full of goodies and $64 in cash. As you can see in the picture above, there were a lot of good presents delivered to the shelters to make sure the animals have a Merry Christmas.

Thanks to everyone who donated this year! This was a great collection, and I look forward to doing it again next year. When I was at the North East Animal Shelter, I saw a lot of great animals looking for a home. I suggest to anyone looking to give a pet a forever home, do stop at that shelter.

I just wanted to give a quick post that everything is up and running! The Lights at Wolf hill is looking great, and now with a little snow on the ground, it looks even better! And don't forget, we're looking for donations for Operation Santa Paws. Please help the thousands of homeless animals living in shelters and foster care by making a donation of food, toys, or even money when visiting the display. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

I just thought I'd post a note to let everyone know the Christmas display is coming along. I know I haven't updated this site much, but The Lights at Wolf Hill will be back this year.

Things are moving a little slowly this year. We are working on a very tight budget, and I'm also dealing with an eye injury that has everything screwed up. But hopefully everything will be up and running on time. Check back here as things progress.

And yes, we will be going Operation Santa Paws again. Your donations to help local animal shelters will be greatly appreciated! Stay tuned for more information.

A very special thanks goes out to all who donated food, toys, supplies, and money for animal shelters in the area. All items were delivered to Nevin's Farm and The Stoneham Cat Society. Several animals will be having an extra merry Christmas thanks to your generosity.

Operation Santa Paws is done for the season, but it will be back next Christmas. If you missed your chance to donate for this season, but still wish to, please donate directly to the shelter of your choice.

Tomorrow I'll be delivering everything to the shelters. Thanks to everyone who has donated, your contributions are greatly appreciated. I received more than I had expected. I will definetly be doing this program again next year, so if you couldn't make it this year, you'll have another chance.

Of course, with the winter storm coming, you might have a few extra days to get your donations in. If I don't feel it safe to travel, I'll hold off for a few days, and I'll leave the donation bin out. I'll deliver everything on Tuesday instead.

This morning, not only was the Holiday Landscapes Christmas display in the paper, but it was on the front page of the Stoneham Sun! Hopefully this will help get some donations for "Operation Santa Paws." If you would like to read the full article, Click Here

It's too bad, the day the article appeared in the paper, the display got rained out. And the conditions probably won't be favorable to running the display right through Friday. I'll do my best to keep things running, but the rain always knocks out the Ground Faults. You can always check if the display is operational in the left hand column under "display status."

Other than that, keep those donations coming! There are too many animals in shelters, lets give them the best Christmas we can. It would be even better if you could open up your heart and your home to one of these animals, giving it the best Christmas present possible.
